Brookfield East runs to the Championship game with win over Menomonie

STEVENS POINT -- Brookfield East used the legs of Sam Santiago-Lloyd to punch their ticket to the state football championship game in Madison. They were able to beat the Menomonie Mustangs in Stevens Point. In the 3rd quarter Santiago-Lloyd shows how hard he is to get down, dragging tacklers all the way into the end zone. That puts the Spartans up 20 to 10. The Mustangs were able to get a field goal after blocking a Spartans field goal attempt. But Menomonie would get no closer, and the Spartans are heading to Madison. They will play Monona Grove in the Division 2 Championship game on Froday.
