Brewers sell 87,000+ tickets during Arctic Tailgate

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Brewers sold a total of 87,000 tickets as of 3 p.m. Saturday, February 23rd as part of its Arctic Tailgate promotion. It was one of the highest totals for a single day in team history.

Hundreds of Brewers fans lined up outside of Miller Park to be among the first to purchase individual tickets to Brewers games for 2013.

In addition, the Club announced that Opening Day (April 1 versus the Rockies) is sold out, except for a limited number of tickets that remain as part of Season Seat packages (see below). Three additional games have limited inventory remaining: Saturday, April 20 versus the Cubs; Sunday, May 26 against the Pirates; and Sunday, June 23 versus the Braves.

Fans still have the opportunity to obtain tickets to the Home Opener and all of the high demand games with the purchase of a partial or full Season Seat plan.

As part of today’s Arctic Tailgate activities, the first 2,000 fans at the Box Office received a free Arctic Tailgate t-shirt, a Klement’s hot dog and a Pepsi.
