Brewers push Cubs back in last in NL Central

CHICAGO (WITI)-- The Brew Crew pushed Chicago back into last place in the NL Central Saturday winning 5-3.

The Crew started off slow trailing 2-0 into the top of the 4th but Jonathan Lucroy got things going with an RBI single cutting the Cubs' lead in half.

A couple batters later, Logan Schafer got Milwaukee ahead clearing the bases on a 3 run triple making it 4-2 Crew.

Chicago added a run in the 6th but Lucroy added an insurance run in the top of the 9th from an RBI triple for Milwaukee.

The Cubs went 3 up 3 down in the bottom of the 9th securing the Brewers' win.

The 2 teams finish out the series tomorrow at 1:20.
