Brewers host All-Star balloting party at UWM Tuesday

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers will host a "Vote Brewers!" All-Star balloting party at UW-Milwaukee's Union (2200 East Kenwood Boulevard) Tuesday, May 8th.

The party will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Fans will have an opportunity to cast their votes on a paper ballot or through online balloting via the laptop computers in the UWM Union All-Star Polling District. Fans can qualify to receive a voucher to save 50% in select seating areas for the Brewers-Cubs games at Miller Park on June 5 and 6.  In addition, the Klement’s Famous Racing Sausages will be in attendance.

Eight Brewers players are featured on the ballot for the 83rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game, to be held on Tuesday, July 10 at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.  Players on this year’s All-Star ballot include 2B Rickie Weeks, 3B Aramis Ramirez, C Jonathan Lucroy, OF Ryan Braun, OF Nyjer Morgan and OF Corey Hart.  Injured players Mat Gamel and Alex Gonzalez also are on the ballot, and write-in candidates are accepted.

In-park balloting at Miller Park began Monday, May 7th and will continue through Tuesday, June 19. Fans can vote for the Major League All-Stars online at brewers.com through Thursday, June 28 at 10:59 CT.
