Brewers fans split on allegations against Ryan Braun

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Fans of the Milwaukee Brewers are split on what to think of the allegations against their team's star left-fielder, Ryan Braun.

As the Brewers prepared to play the Oakland Athletic's on Wednesday, June 5th, talk about performance-enhancing drug allegations involving Braun were the hottest topic among tailgate parties at Miller Park.

"I think it's an absolutely hoax, and I think it's bull crap that it's coming back up," said one fan.

"I really hope that, you know they can get to the bottom of this. Hopefully there’s no issues related to him. It’s just something that can be resolved and solved and yeah, wanna see him play, really wanna see him play," said another fan.

"I'll lose a little bit of respect just because he lied, you know, if, if that’s the case. But, yes, I’ll be a little disappointed," said Delbert White.

In the meantime, many here say for the time being, they still back Braun -- and will always be behind the Brewers.
