Are you ready for some basketball?! Lots of excitement as Bucks season begins Wednesday night!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Are you ready for some basketball?! Wednesday, October 29th is opening night for the Milwaukee Bucks' 2014-2015 season! The Bucks open their 47th season in the NBA with a road matchup against the Charlotte Hornets.

Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. CT.

Below are some facts and figures surrounding the Bucks' season opener:

OPENING NIGHT VIEWING PARTY

Bucks Bar Network member Jackson’s Blue Ribbon Pub (1203 N. 10th St.) will host the official Bucks Viewing Party Wednesday night when Milwaukee takes on Charlotte.

Fans can watch the FOX Sports Wisconsin telecast of the season’s first game while being treated to great Coors Light drink specials and appearances by the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and other Bucks performance groups. Fans will also have the chance to win great Bucks prizes including tickets to the October 31st Home Opener vs. Philadelphia. As part of the Opening Night festivities, patrons at any Bucks Bar Network location tonight will be encouraged to post their location on social media using the #BucksBars hashtag. One lucky fan to do so will be randomly selected to receive $250 from the team to cover their tab for the night.

HOME OPENER FRIDAY

Tipoff Week culminates with the Home Opener of the 47th season of Milwaukee Bucks basketball when the Bucks host the Philadelphia 76ers at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Friday night (7:30 p.m. tip).

All fans in attendance will receive a free glow-in-the-dark Bucks Home Opener T-shirt and be treated to a hilarious halftime performance from comedian Frank Caliendo.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Box Office, through Ticketmaster (1-800-4NBA-TIX) or on Bucks.com. Bucks ticket packages are also available online at Bucks.com or by calling 414-227-0500.

Also on Friday, Uber is offering Bucks fans a free ride from any Bucks Bar Network location to the BMO Harris Bradley Center with the code BUCKSBARS. Then postgame, select bars in the Bucks Bar Network will have great drink offers for patrons who show their Home Opener ticket.
