Another late-inning loss for Brewers

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers played three one-run games against the Los Angeles Dodgers earlier this week, taking the first two and losing the series finale.  Friday night, April 20th, they opened a three game engagement with the Rockies by falling, 4 to 3.

The home team generated only five hits and seemed sluggish after getting tough injury news regarding pitcher Chris Narveson earlier in the day (he's on the disabled list with a torn rotator cuff).

Norichika Aoki made his first major league start for the Brewers in center field and contributed two hits, including an inside-the-park-homer in the fourth inning.  Mat Gamel also swung the bat well, tying the game with a hard single in the sixth inning.  However, scored a run off John Axford to deal Milwaukee another setback.
