Admirals check Charlotte, deal with suspensions

CHARLOTTE -- Goalie Jeremy Smith stopped 31 shots for his fifth shutout of the season, and Kyle Wilson scored twice to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to a 4-0 win over the Charlotte Checkers, Tuesday night, April 3rd in North Carolina.

Earlier in the day, the American Hockey League handed out suspensions after a fracas in the Bradley Center during Sunday's shootout loss to Rockford. Admirals center Michael Latta was suspended for three games. Goaltender Jeremy Smith will sit out one game.

Two Rockford players were each suspended for three games. Both head coaches and teams were fined an undisclosed amount.
