This special toe-tapping treat will get you in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day

MILWAUKEE -- St. Patrick's Day is Thursday, March 17th -- which means many people will be feeling a bit Irish, whether they are or not.  Sean Beglan of the The Beglan Academy joins Real Milwaukee to help us all get into the spirit of the holiday.

Sean Beglan started dancing at the age of four in his hometown of Cavan, Ireland. By the age of nine, he was competing at an international level. By the age of 17, Sean was invited to join Riverdance, where he quickly took over as lead dancer.  He turned his attention to teaching dance in 2007 when he and his wife settled down in Milwaukee.  His wife is a native of Wauwatosa.

The students at the Beglan Academy have two performances you can catch tomorrow - on St. Patrick's Day.  From 12:15-1:00 p.m. you can see them at The County Clare on Astor Street. There is a $5 cover charge that goes to local charities.  Then later in the day they have two shows at the Silver Spring House on Green Bay Avenue. Admission is free for the shows between 4 and 6 p.m.
