MILWAUKEE -- Looking to get outside this weekend? Cedarburg is holding its 42nd annual Winter Festival. Michelle Taylor joins Real Milwaukee to tell us all about it.

With the New Year close at hand, it's time to start thinking about the 2016 Winter Festival. This year we will be celebrating with the theme "Cedarburg Salutes America." The popular Ice Carving Contest, sponsored by BMO Harris Bank, will set the stage along Cedarburg's main street, where 300 pound blocks of ice will be transformed into glistening blocks of frozen art!

On the opposite end of town, with golf clubs in hand, the Cedarburg Lion’s will tee-off in the snow at the annual IceBurg Open Golf Tournament in Cedar Creek Park.
