Wisconsin Emergency Management monitoring situation in Paris
MILWAUKEE -- The deadly attacks in Paris on Friday, November 13th has the state of Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) monitoring the situation closely.
According to CNN, at least 149 people were killed in the attacks. Terrorists — some with AK-47s, some reportedly with bombs strapped to them — attacked sites throughout the French capital and at the stadium where the soccer match between France and Germany was underway.
FOX6 News' sister station reached out to WEM on Friday evening regarding the attacks -- looking to see if state agencies are enacting special precautions or keeping anyone on alert.
A member from the Wisconsin Emergency Management responded:
"There is no indication of any threats here, but we would remind everyone what we say all the time… if you see something, say something. If you see something unusual, report it to local authorities."
