Wisconsin Athletic Club closes on new location in Brookfield near Goerke's Corners

BROOKFIELD -- The Wisconsin Athletic Club has closed on a new location in the Town of Brookfield's Goerke's Corners area.

The Wisconsin Athletic Club paid $3.6 million for the site.

The new location will open in summer 2016 and it will feature an indoor/outdoor aquatic center with three pools.

The building was formerly the site of a University of Phoenix branch.

Before that, it was a movie theater.

When it is finished, this will be the Wisconsin Athletic Club's largest facility to date.
