Washington mother of three went on a date Friday night; she hasn't been seen since

RENTON, Washington -- A Washington mother is missing after friends say she went on a date on Friday night, April 8th.

Police in Renton, Washington are investigating the disappearance of Ingrid Lyne. Seattle police are also involved.

Those who know Lyne say they're desperate for answers.

Edward Franceschina is Lyne's neighbor. He said he considers her a daughter.

"It’s not good. The purse, the telephone and everything was in the house," Franceschina said.

Franceschina said he last saw the Renton, Washington mom on Friday afternoon, April 8th -- checking her mail before heading to a Seattle Mariner’s game.

Her friends have taken to social media in an effort to find her.

They say on Friday night, Lyne went on a date with someone she met online. When she didn’t show up to pick up her kids on Saturday morning, there was concern.

Friends and neighbors say Lyne's car is missing -- a gray 2015 Toyota Highlander with Washington plates: AUW 3230.

Police spent the weekend investigating.

“It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood and a pretty quiet cul-de-sac so it was a little weird to see all the police activity,” said Dawn Early, a neighbor.

There are a lot of people who are very worried about the mother of three, who is a nurse at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.

"The longer it goes on, the more you think she’s not coming back,” said Franceschina.
