MADISON (WITI) -- Governor Scott Walker released the following statement Wednesday, May 29th regarding the Joint Finance Committee’s 16-0 vote of support for the Wisconsin Walleye Initiative:
The Wisconsin Walleye Initiative is a historic investment aimed at improving Wisconsin’s lakes and supporting our tourism and fishing industries. These long-term improvements help to preserve and protect our natural resources for future generations to enjoy. I thank members of the Joint Finance Committee for their unanimous, bipartisan support of this initiative.
