Voters take note: In-person absentee voting ends Friday, August 5th

MILWAUKEE -- In person absentee (early) voting for the August 9th Partisan Primary Election ends Friday, August 5th.

To vote, go to your city or village clerk’s office.  You can find your municipal clerk at here.

Remember, you must have an acceptable form of photo identification to vote.

The following Photo IDs are acceptable for voting purposes: Wisconsin driver license, Photo ID card issued by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, U.S. Passport, U.S. Military ID, Veterans Affairs ID, Certificate of Naturalization, Tribal ID, and most college and university student IDs along with proof of enrollment.  The photo ID does not have to show a current address.

If you do not have any of these forms of identification, go to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to obtain a free photo ID.  For more information on Wisconsin’s voter photo ID law go to Bring It to the Ballot at: http://bringit.wisconsin.gov/.
