Van engulfed in flames following two-vehicle crash in Elm Grove

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- One person was hurt following a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Bluemound Road and Eastmoor Avenue in Elm Grove Friday, July 1st.

According to Elm Grove police, two vehicles crashed during heavy lunch-hour traffic. After impact, a Dodge caravan veered off the road into some trees and became fully engulfed in flames.

Police say one driver was injured as a result of this crash.

Authorities are using this as a reminder to drivers as we enter the holiday weekend: slow down, be observant to traffic and plan ahead to get to your final destination safely.

This crash remains under investigation.
