Two teenagers in custody following robbery of Casey's General Store in Beaver Dam
BEAVER DAM (WITI) -- Beaver Dam police say two teenagers are in custody following the robbery of a Casey's General Store that occurred on Tuesday night, November 18th.
It happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. at the Casey's General Store on N. University Avenue.
Police say the initial call indicated a male had entered the store and passed a note to the clerk demanding cash and cigarettes. No weapon was implied or utilized during the robbery.
Police say an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes were taken during the robbery.
The suspect fled on foot to a vehicle. That vehicle was located approximately one block south of the store, and a traffic stop was conducted. A 17-year-old male from Columbus, and an 18-year-old male from Fall River were taken into custody.
Charges have been referred to the Dodge County District Attorney's Office.
