Two Nicolet students killed after car slams into tree

Two teens were killed when a car slammed into a tree near Good Hope Rd. and Seneca Ave. around 1 a.m. Saturday.

The driver of the car was Hallee Ludowise-Fisher from Glendale and the passenger was Jennifer Geren of Fox Point. Both of the 15-year-olds died at the scene.

According to our partners at Patch.com, the two students were very well liked at the school.

Prior to the crash, River Hills police attempted to stop the car, owned by Ludowise-Fisher's mother. The vehicle accelerated to a high rate of speed. The officer decided not to pursue the vehicle and turned off his emergency lights.

The car sped eastbound on Good Hope for several blocks until it crashed into the tree near Seneca Ave.

Both of the victims were sophomores at Nicolet High School. Authorities believe alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Memorials were held at the scene on Saturday afternoon, many of them leaving a message of remembrance for the two girls.
