Two men hurt after knife fight at Union Grove restaurant
UNION GROVE (WITI) -- Two employees at a Union Grove restaurant were hurt after a fight involving a knife Saturday evening, May 11th.
Police were called to the Union Grove Family Restaurant on 15th Ave. around 5 p.m. Saturday. The person who called 911 told the dispatcher a fight broke out between two employees, one was covered in blood, and the restaurant was open for business during this time.
Racine County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene as well as Union Grove/Yorkville Rescue. They found the fight was between two men; one 24 years old, the other 46 years old. Both employees had several cuts and one had a broken arm and ankle. Their injuries were not life-threatening and both were treated and released from Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Investigations Bureau assisted with this investigation and at this time the investigation is still ongoing.
