Two arrested, infant placed with CFS after BMO Harris Bank robbed in Pleasant Prairie

PLEASANT PRAIRIE (WITI) -- Pleasant Prairie police say two people were arrested following an armed robbery Monday, December 8th at the BMO Harris Bank on 76th Street.

It happened shortly before 3:00 p.m.

Police were initially dispatched to the bank following a 911 hang-up call. Upon an officer's arrival, he observed a man exiting the bank -- fleeing through a nearby retail district.

Police then received a hold up alarm from the bank.

An officer pursued the man -- locating him in the rear bed of a pickup truck that was parked behind a neighboring business. He was removed from the truck bed and taken into custody.

Officers confirmed that the 43-year-old man matched the description of the suspect who had just robbed the BMO Harris Bank.

A 23-year-old woman who was driving the truck was also arrested. Both are being held at the Kenosha County Detention Center.

A one-year-old child found inside the truck was placed with Kenosha County Department of Children and Family Services.
