Three-year-old girl struck by car in Sheboygan

SHEBOYGAN -- A three-year-old girl is recovering at Children's Hospital after being struck by a car in the city of Sheboygan.

Sheboygan police say the crash happened at N. 8th St and Zimbal Ave. just after noon Saturday, May 19th. There was a large family gathering at a home nearby.

The child suffered head injuries and was eventually airlifted to Children's Hospital.

The roadway and scene were closed down during the investigation and reopened around 2 p.m.
