Therapy dogs provide stress relief for Cardinal Stritch students
FOX POINT (WITI) -- Students managing the stress of final exams this week had a chance to pet and play with therapy dogs -- trained to help individuals in stressful situations.
Rosalia Ballinger, user experience librarian at Stritch, says that these events are becoming more common to help students cope with the end-of-semester stress of final projects and exams.
"The end of the semester is such a busy and stressful time for everyone," said Ballinger. "Being able to pet a dog and unwind for a few minutes is a nice break that we can offer."
Four dogs from Therapy Dogs Inc. visited Stritch this week.
