The Rock Sports Complex, Greendale come to terms

FRANKLIN (WITI) -- The Rock Sports Complex and the Village of Greendale appear to have hammered out an agreement with respect to The Rock's Special Use Permit application.

A joint statement released on Wednesday, October 23rd, indicates "The Village, The Rock and the Milwaukee County Parks Department have agreed on a tree-planting plan that will benefit residents of Greendale along 76th Street. The plan, which The Rock will implement at its cost, follows a recommendation by the Village."

Further action on the plan will take place on Wednesday, October 30th at 7 p.m., when the Greendale Plan Commission meets to consider action recommending Village Board approval of The Rock's application.

The Greendale Village Board will meet on Tuesday, November 5th at 7 p.m. to hold a public hearing and consider such approval. Both meetings will be held in the Village Board Room at Village Hall, 6500 Northway.
