WEST BEND (WITI) -- Temperatures topped 50 degrees on Tuesday, March 10th, and that had golfers out on the links!
FOX6 News caught up with some at West Bend Lakes Golf Club in West Bend.
Officials cleared the snow off the greens and tee boxes in anticipation of this warm stretch of weather. There was still a bit of moisture on the grass from the snow melt, but not enough to scare those avid golfers away.
Club officials recommend golfers bring old golf shoes that they don't mind getting a little soaked and muddy.
"I put on my knee boots so I could go through the puddles but it's not too bad. Most places it's dry enough to walk but there's a few puddles here and there between holes," a golfer said.
Club officials also recommend golfers bring an extra pair of dry socks and extra golf balls just in case they lose some in the snow that's still on the ground.
