Sweet Water developer Milhaus plans 274 apartments at The Brewery in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Two new buildings with a combined 274 apartments are planned in The Brewery near downtown Milwaukee by Indianapolis-based Milhaus Development LLC.

“We see this as an opportunity to contribute to the neighborhood and bring some density,” said Greg McHenry, Milhaus director of development.

The two, five-story buildings would go up in the historic former Pabst Brewing Co. campus northeast of downtown Milwaukee. Milhaus is working with Milwaukee-based developer WiRED Properties as its local partner on the projects. The two developers also are building 291 market-rate apartments at 2151 S. Robinson St. in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood in a redevelopment of the former Sweet Water Organics property.
