Suspect involved in Kenosha standoff identified

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Officials have identified the suspect taken into custody in connection with a standoff in Kenosha Wednesday, December 4th.

38-year-old Chester Mass is currently being held in the Kenosha County Jail on a probation hold.

The standoff lasted almost 10 hours, ending with an explosive breach and Mass being arrested by officers. A woman's body, later identified as 33-year-old Heather Adamski, was found inside the home.

Adamski's cause of death has been determined to be a gunshot wound to the head.
