Students make generous donation to Racine Co. Food Bank

RACINE (WITI) -- Students at Walden III Middle and High School put the wraps on their annual food drive on Wednesday, November 27th.

Walden II presents food and cash donations to the Racine County Food Bank totalling more than $7,800.

Following the food drive, a feast was held for staff and students, as well as alumni and former staff.

Last year, the school collected $6,484.42 in cash and 254 boxes of food.

The donation from Walden II is the second largest donation to the Racine County Food Bank each year. Only donations from postal workers in Racine County top that.
