MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- We saw storms in southeastern Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon, May 11th -- and more are expected overnight Sunday and through Monday night, May 12th.
Storms on Sunday triggered a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire FOX6 viewing area -- but that watch was cancelled before it was set to expire at 10:00 p.m.
Showers and thunderstorms moved into southeastern Wisconsin -- and brought with them a threat for hail and strong downpours.
The storms moved out of the area by about 7:00 p.m. or so -- but were expected to move back in after 10:00 p.m.
FOX6 Chief Meteorologist Vince Condella says storms Monday afternoon and Monday night again bring a threat of heavy rain, gusty winds and possible hail.
Condella says some parts of southeastern Wisconsin could receive two inches or more of rainfall (combined with Sunday's rain) by the time Monday's storms move out.
