Small airplane makes unanticipated landing in Muskego

MUSKEGO (WITI) -- A small passenger airplane made an unanticipated landing about 20 miles south of the Waukesha County Airport on Wednesday evening, August 14th.

Muskego police were first alerted of the issue just before 6 p.m. Then around 6:30 p.m., the airplane was located in a field on the south side of the city.

The plane was not damaged during the landing -- and the two people inside the plane were not hurt.

Franklin police assisted in locating the aircraft.
