Single mothers in Milwaukee receive Easter baskets: "It really feels good to be appreciated"

MILWAUKEE -- There was an extra Easter blessing for five deserving mothers in Milwaukee.

Community activist Tory Lowe partnered with "Hebron House" in Waukesha to deliver Easter baskets to single mothers.

Inside the baskets were necessities like hair care products, and goodies like chocolates and trinkets.

Lekeysha Minor has five children, and said the Easter basket was a wonderful surprise.

"It really feels good to be appreciated, you know? Because I don't get this often, so it's a good feeling. A warm feeling," Minor said.

All of the mothers selected were suggested as deserving recipients by their friends and family members on social media.
