MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It could be loud in southeastern Wisconsin early Wednesday morning, August 7th, as storms are expected to move in after midnight.
It was a warm and muggy Tuesday, and FOX6 Meteorologist Vince Condella was watching storms in the Plains headed toward Wisconsin.
Condella says we could see a few scattered showers and T-storms around 9:00 Tuesday night, but the bulk of the storms will be here after midnight.
Condella says some of these storms could be strong, with gusty winds, lightning and heavy rain. However, Condella says these are fast-moving storms, so they should move out quickly.
By 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, Condella expects most of the precipitation to be headed out over the lake, and a wind shift to the northwest will bring in drier and less humid air.
The Storm Prediction Center has western and central Wisconsin under a slight risk of severe weather.
