Shorewood, Whitefish Bay H.S. students get buzz cuts for cancer

SHOREWOOD -- Some Shorewood High School students got buzz cuts for a good cause Wednesday, May 23rd.

The students got buzz cuts to raise money for the MACC Fund.

Students who took part in "Buzz Cuts for Cancer" collected donations from friends, family and businesses in exchange for participating.

This is the seventh year for Buzz Cuts at Shorewood High School. The Shorewood event has raised almost $74,000 for the MACC Fund.
 
It is the second year for the Buzz Cuts event at Whitefish Bay High School. Students will get the buzz cuts Friday, May 25th. In 2010, the Whitefish Bay event raised almost $18,000 for kids with cancer and related blood disorders.
