Shoppers find deals at Rummage-A-Rama's Christmas Spectacular

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- Rummage-A-Rama is holding its annual Christmas Spectacular at State Fair Park's Wisconsin Expo Center in West Allis Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th.

With over 175 different vendors to visit, shoppers are raking in the deals this weekend.

"For our Christmas Spectacular, we're going big," said owner Tim Gill. "You come to one building today, you can shop 180 different stores and they're all here ready to sell their wares and make some bargains and deals."

Gill is in his fifth year as owner of Rummage-A-Rama but the event's history stretches back to the 1970's. Gill says this weekend's show is the biggest in over a decade.

"There's a lot of stuff to see, so you don't want to get in the front door, spend your money right away and then have to go," said vendor Val Zeise. "Make a round and then decide what you want to buy."

Vendors say selling among the wide variety of items gives them an opportunity to attract a diverse crowd prepared to make purchases.

Rummage-A-Rama hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
