SENTENCED: 45-year-old Markus Holcomb of Kenosha, on child pornography charges

KENOSHA COUNTY (WITI) -- A 45-year-old Kenosha man facing 30 counts of possession of child pornography has been sentenced in the case against him.

Markus Holcomb pleaded guilty to five of the 30 charges on October 22nd. The additional charges filed against him were dismissed as a result of the plea deal.

On two of the possession of child pornography charges, Holcomb was sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision -- with credit for 13 days served.

On the other three charges to which Holcomb pleaded guilty, a sentence was withheld, and Holcomb was ordered to serve 10 years probation on each charge. The probation sentences are to be served concurrently, so he will serve a total of 30 years probation following his 20 years of extended supervision.

Police found thousands of pornographic images of children on a hard drive taken from Holcomb's home.

Another hard drive contained four child porn videos.

Also discovered were pictures of children taken at two Kenosha parks, and phtos and video of a young girl police believe may be a neighbor.
