"Saved by the Bell" actor Dustin Diamond tested positive for oxycodone

OZAUKEE COUNTY -- Dustin Diamond, the actor who played Screech on "Saved by the Bell," violated his probation by failing a drug test, according to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

TMZ says documents show Diamond's urine tested positive for oxycodone during a test administered last month. Screech allegedly told his parole officer he'd recently taken a "painkiller" for a toothache -- but also admitted not knowing what kind it was because it was an old prescription.

Diamond was booked into the Ozaukee County Jail on Wednesday, May 25th and released two days later.

TMZ reports he told police he's "cleaned out" his medicine cabinet.
