S.E. Wis. OWI Task Force out in force on Brewers Opening Day

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Southeast Wisconsin Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force would like to remind people that on Monday, March 31st -- Opening Day for the Milwaukee Brewers, will bring extra patrols throughout southeast Wisconsin for drunk drivers.

Deployments will focus on areas surrounding Miller Park as well as the freeway corridors leading to and from Waukesha County through Milwaukee County.

Law enforcement officials would like to remind party-goers to once again pre-plan their rides prior to tailgating and drinking.  Please have a designated sober driver, and/or utilize public transportation such as buses, shuttles, or cabs.

The OWI Task Force strongly encourages the public to have a great time and cheer on the Milwaukee Brewers to a victory – but to do so responsibly and not drink and drive.

Officials encourage folks to have a game plan in mind which includes a “relief driver.”
