'Run With Wolfes' connects family and friends to raise money for loved ones

MILWAUKEE -- Friends and family members came together to run in favor of a boy who lost his battle with cancer. 'Run With Wolfes' is named for Eric Wolfe, who died of brain cancer.

Eric Wolfe lost his battle to brain cancer in 1999, and since then his family has continued to keep his memory alive.

Over the past five years, members of Run With Wolfes have raised more than $800,000 to support cancer research.

"This walk is all about connecting with family. They joke that it's a family reunion and we're welcoming new people to the family and the old people who have been here in years past," said Sara Miller, organizer.

Organizers are also trying to put the spotlight on organ donation.
