Rollover crash shuts down stretch of I-94 south of Mitchell Interchange

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Traffic headed northbound on I-94 had to be diverted off the interstate early Sunday, August 31st because of a rollover crash south of the Mitchell Interchange.

The wreck happened around 5:30 a.m. at College Ave.

Officials indicated the driver was unconscious but breathing at the time of the crash. The person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The freeway opened to traffic again shortly before 6:30 a.m.
