River flood warnings in place with periods of rain, light snow expected

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN (WITI) -- The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the following rivers in Southeast Wisconsin: Milwaukee River, Sheboygan River, Root River and Fox River.

There is an increased potential that we could see many rivers and streams approach or exceed the flood stage. Other general low-land flooding is likely. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
