Ride if you dare: Six Flags unveils plans for first 4D roller coaster

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A new Batman-themed roller coaster featuring two “beyond-90-degree drops and six 360-degree spins” is the world’s first 4-D roller coaster and will open at Six Flags Fiesta in Texas next year.

A video released on Friday, August 29th shows the dramatic twists and turns in the thrilling ride.

The theme park described the ride as the “most exciting thrill ride” in its 22-year history.

“The Ride employs ultra-modern magnetic technology, which causes riders to flip head over heels with the feeling of pure weightlessness,” the park said in a news release.

The coaster is scheduled to open summer 2015.
