Richfield man arrested in connection with attack on woman
RICHFIELD (WITI) -- The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 19-year-old Village of Richfield man in connection with the attack on a woman in the Richfield Historical Park on Friday, July 12th.
The victim in this case gave investigators a description of the suspect -- which led to the composite sketch in this story.
The man was also developed as a suspect through department records which showed his vehicle being checked by a Deputy in the park on July 1st. During an interview with Sheriff’s Detectives, the man confessed to the attack.
The man is currently being held in the Washington County Jail, and charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Aggravated Battery will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
