Red Cross assisting 9 people following house fire near 4th & Keefe

MILWAUKEE -- The American Red Cross is assisting nine people following a house fire Sunday night, September 11th.

Crews were called out to a home near 4th and Keefe around 10 p.m.

Firefighters say the blaze started in the attic and caused more than $60,000 in damage. The home had no smoke detectors.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
