Raise a glass, it's Oktoberfest!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It's all about beer, music, and food in Milwaukee on Saturday, October 4th, as downtown Milwaukee is transformed into a traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest celebration. The event is held at the Marcus Center Grounds and Pere Marquette Park October 3rd through the 5th.

The celebration occupies both sides of the Milwaukee River with beer gardens, music, and fun. An authentic tent and beer garden was put up in the park for the celebration.

The original beer of King Ludwig's Royal Brewery is featured, along with traditional Bavarian foods including giant fresh baked pretzels, bratwurst, wieners, and pork sandwiches.

Of course, there is also plenty of polka bands to dance to!

Music and entertainment will take place throughout the festival weekend at both locations.

The event runs through Sunday evening.
