Racine man gets 3.5 years in overdose death involving his father
RACINE (AP) — A 24-year-old Wisconsin man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison in connection with his father's overdose death.
The Journal Times reports (http://bit.ly/1l1w2ns ) Adam Jaskulske of Racine was sentenced Thursday to three-and-a-half years in prison, followed by six-and-a-half years extended supervision.
Investigators say 49-year-old Glen Jaskulske died after he and his son spent a night partying and doing drugs in a hotel room. Adam Jaskulske's co-defendant, Aaron Mianecki, was their heroin supplier. He was sentenced Monday to 25 years in prison in the deaths of Glen Jaskulske and three others who overdosed on drugs.
Adam Jaskulske pleaded no contest in May to charges of second-degree reckless homicide and possession of heroin. He has already served about half of his sentence.
