Racine County seeing light snow, clear roadways
STURTEVANT (WITI) -- The National Weather Service has issued a winter advisory for all of southeast Wisconsin until 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 22nd. At this time, Racine County is seeing light snow -- and traffic is flowing smoothly.
However, early Friday morning, weather conditions posed a risky commute for drivers. During the early morning hours of Friday, February 22nd motorists traveling through Racine County saw slick, slush-covered roadways.
Two rounds of snow will be moving through southeast Wisconsin today. The first has already moved north, leaving on average 2 to 4 inches for the FOX6 viewing area. The second round entered western Wisconsin around 9:00 a.m.. -- and hit southeast Wisconsin late morning.
