Proposed merger: When will Time Warner Cable customers switch to Charter Communications?

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Time Warner Cable customers could soon get more details on when they'll be switched to Charter Communications.

The FCC is scheduled to issue a ruling by January on Comcast's proposed merger with Time Warner Cable.

There is a separate deal then to sell some of the cable system to Charter.

The switch for customers would come following the ruling.
