Police: Two shot, injured near N. 38th and Fairmount on Wednesday afternoon

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police were on the scene of a double shooting that occurred near the intersection of N. 38th Street and Fairmount Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, July 9th.

It happened around 3:30 p.m.

Police say a 29-year-old man was shot several times, and a 49-year-old man received non life-threatening wounds.

Police say both were sitting on a porch at the time of the shooting.

Both were taken to the hospital.

Police say the 29-year-old man is in grave condition.

No one is in custody.
