Police: South Milwaukee driver arrested on homicide charges after two bicyclists killed in Muskego

MUSKEGO -- Muskego police say the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash that killed two bicyclists Saturday, June 6th in Muskego has been arrested on homicide charges.

The crash happened on State Highway 36 just after 6:30 a.m.

The bicyclists who were killed have been identified as 45-year-old Paul Brown of Franklin and 54-year-old Anthony Oliver of Oak Creek.

They were struck by a 20-year-old South Milwaukee man, driving a sport utility vehicle. Police say he has been arrested on two counts of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.

The Wisconsin State Patrol's Technical Reconstruction Unit and the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office are assisting Muskego police with this investigation.

When the investigation is complete, it will be forwarded to the Waukesha County District Attorney's Office for charges.
