Police seek teen suspects after robbery, burglary, pursuit in stolen Jeep: "Where`s the parents?"

WAUWATOSA -- Wauwatosa police need your help identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a crime spree that involved a robbery, burglary at a bank and eluding police. Police say the suspects used a stolen vehicle in the commission of these crimes.

Police say on May 30th, shortly before 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery where a weapon was implied near 67th and Milwaukee Avenue.

"The female victim gave her purse to the subject after he demanded it," Lt. Brian Zalewski with the Wauwatosa Police Department said.

The suspects fled in a stolen 2004 Jeep Liberty with Wisconsin license plates: 651-PKU.

The suspects were captured a short time later on video surveillance in the area trying to use the robbery victim’s credit card.

Nearly 12 hours later, shortly after 1:00 p.m., an officer attempted to stop the stolen Jeep Liberty -- and the suspects fled from police and a short pursuit ensued. The Jeep was not located by officers.

On June 1st around 10:00 a.m., the stolen Jeep Liberty was recovered near 82nd and Grantosa. Four suspects were observed by a resident abandoning the Jeep and attempting to steal another vehicle -- unsuccessfully, police say.

Carl McCoy

It was Carl McCoy's sister's Jeep Liberty that was stolen by these suspects.

It happened during Memorial Day weekend. As a party was wrapping up, guests came outside to find the Jeep had been stolen from in front of McCoy's home.

"Everybody was screaming and yelling 'where is her car?!'" McCoy said.

They called police, only to find out later that the vehicle had been used in this three-day crime spree.
