Police: Four arrested for drug-related offenses in Fort Atkinson
FORT ATKINSON -- Four people at a residence on Monroe St. in Fort Atkinson were arrested for various drug-related offenses, according to a news release issued on Friday, May 27th.
Members of the Jefferson County Drug Task Force with help from Fort Atkinson Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office made the arrests on Thursday -- after executing a search warrant on the residence. Those in custody are ages 24, 36, 41 and 43.
During the search of the residence, more than 65 grams of methamphetamine was located. It has an estimated street value of $6,500. Officials also say they found various pieces of drug paraphernalia -- including pipes and syringes.
Those in custody are expected to be charged with possession with intention to deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house and possession of methamphetamine drug paraphernalia.
